Amy Lund is a book and paper artist living in Portland, Oregon. As a teenager, Amy burned up her mother’s blender–and two more after that–trying to figure out the magic of papermaking. The allure of that first batch of paper started her on a long and winding path in the field. She holds a BFA from Oregon College of Art and Craft, and has worked for artists such as Barb Tetenbaum and Kathy Kuehn. Amy’s strong domestic and folk traditions play a key role in her unique artist books and limited editions under the imprint of Nortonsdatter Press. Her work is conceptually quiet and material-centric, often rooted in the themes of Home and the human experience.
